Thank you to everyone who took part in today’s Charity Show at Castlefields. The weather was dry and it was a lovely day.
Castle Kennedy Charity Horse Show is organised by the remaining members of the Castle Kennedy Horse Driving Trials committee and we are grateful to Stranraer & District Riding Club for allowing us to run the Charity Show and Show Jumping events at the Club.
The trophies presented at the Charity Show and Show Jumping events were originally presented at the Castle Kennedy Horse Driving Trials and the events are held in memory of Dr John Calvert.
This year’s Charity Show Jumping and Charity Show events have raised £500 in total to donate to Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.
Thank you to everyone who entered and to our judges, Ruth Eastwood and Martin Doherty, along with stewards Julie Pedley, Kim Applegarth, Sheena Townley-Malyon, Angela Hughes, Jill Gilchrist, Maggie and John Bunnett, who all helped to make the day run smoothly.
